Funchal Notícias2 September 2026 at 18:33

The Câmara Municipal of Ponta do Sol came forward to clarify that the process regarding the construction of the new PSP Police Station is being conducted with transparency, rigor and a sense of responsibility. The objective is to ensure that this infrastructure, awaited for decades by the municipality, can finally move forward.

The local authority states that it is important to recall that a first tender procedure was launched for the execution of the work, but the message appears cut off, making it impossible to identify all the details mentioned about this initial procedure.

The municipality emphasizes its commitment to transparency in conducting this process, which aims to address an old need of the local community.

The Câmara's position arises in a context where the project for the new PSP Police Station has been the subject of public debate in the municipality of Ponta do Sol.
