The Superior Court of Justice judged on Wednesday (2) a motion requesting the return of Alexandre Nardoni and Anna Carolina Jatobá to the closed prison regime. The trial took place in the virtual chamber of the Fifth Panel of the STJ and lasted until midnight.
The two were convicted for the death of Isabella Nardoni, 5 years old, in 2008, and currently serve their sentence in open regime. The motion was filed by the LGBTQIA+ Pride Association, which claims that the couple would have violated rules imposed by the Court to remain in this benefit.
According to the entity, Alexandre and Anna Carolina would be circulating at times incompatible with the conditions of the benefit, would not prove a regular work routine, and there would be doubts about the address reported to the Court. The association claims that more than two thousand people signed a petition requesting the return of the two to prison.
