Douro wine in the spotlight from Friday in São João da Pesqueira

For three days, starting on Friday, the center of São João da Pesqueira will transform into "a great stage of celebration of the Douro," putting the region's wine in the spotlight. The event promises to bring together wine producers and enthusiasts in a celebration dedicated to the nectars produced in the demarcated Douro region. São João da Pesqueira, known as one of the main wine-producing towns in the country, thus returns to assume a central role in the promotion of Portuguese wines. The initiative aims to boost the local economy and affirm the importance of wine production for the identity and development of the Duriense region.
