The suspect, a 42-year-old man, had been in preventive detention since February of the year prior to the trial. He began standing trial in December on suspicion of multiple aggravated child sexual abuse crimes.
The crimes allegedly were committed against his two children. After the start of the trial, the suspect began awaiting the rest of the proceedings at liberty.
