The Municipality of Paços de Ferreira awarded a contract for 30,113 euros, plus VAT, for the replacement of conventional floodlights with LED lighting at the football fields of Raimonda and Eiriz. The contract was signed following an international public tender, with the award approved by order of 17 July and digitally signed by the representatives of both parties.
The intervention involves the renovation of the lighting system at the two sports venues, with the replacement of conventional floodlights with LED technology, a more energy-efficient solution with advantages in terms of environmental sustainability. The supply of equipment and the respective work is to be carried out within 30 days, counted from the signing of the contract.
The award was given to the company Schréder, based in Carnaxide, under procedure no. 13/F/2026, entitled "Replacement of conventional floodlights with LED floodlights at the Football Fields of Raimonda and Eiriz". The expense is included in the 2026 municipal budget.
