Nuno Lobo, former president of the Lisbon Football Association, submitted a proposal for Benfica's next General Assembly. The proposal aims to submit to the vote of Benfica members a motion for the withdrawal of confidence from Pedro Proença.

The former federation executive argues that the club's position should be communicated to the Portuguese Football Federation, UEFA and FIFA. This initiative comes in a context of tension between Benfica and the federative structure of Portuguese football.
