Tomás Araújo has extended his contract with Benfica until June 2031. The 24-year-old Portuguese centre-back thus extends his link with the Eagles, which began in the youth teams.
The player came through Benfica's youth system, having moved to the senior team in 2021/22. Since then, he has been a regular presence in the first team.
A Portuguese international, Araújo has been an important piece in Benfica's team setup, establishing himself as one of the most consistent promises of the Lisbon side.
With this new contract until 2031, the club demonstrates confidence in the young defender and ensures his continuity for the coming years.
