André Pipa, a CNN Portugal commentator, addressed Pedro Gonçalves's departure from Sporting to Fiorentina, considering that the Portuguese League has just lost its greatest magician. The midfielder thus leaves the Lions' club after several seasons serving the first team.
The transfer was completed at the close of the Italian market, having been made through a loan with a fee of 2.5 million euros. The agreement between the two clubs also includes conditions that, subject to the achievement of objectives, can raise the total value of the operation to 25 million euros for Sporting's coffers.
