The president of the ceramic manufacturers association, Ismael García Peris, valued the visit made by the Industry Minister, Jordi Hereu, to the Ascer headquarters. During the encounter, no new measures were announced to face the sector's challenges.

García Peris warned that if the sector is not competitive, there will be no future. This message was directed directly to the Industry Minister, underscoring the urgency of supporting the ceramic industry.

The visit served to demonstrate the willingness to appeal to European Union leaders for decisions that benefit these companies. The sector wants to pressure European institutions to obtain more favorable conditions.

The encounter highlighted the challenges that the ceramic sector currently faces, although no concrete solutions were presented during the meeting between the minister and the manufacturers.
