The Government of the Azores is developing an agricultural path requalification programme that covers three islands of the archipelago: São Miguel, Pico and Terceira. Two of the projects are already contracted, while the third is in the adjudication phase. The works were designed to include specific features and capabilities adapted to each island, recognizing the territorial and agricultural particularities of each one. This initiative is part of a strategy to enhance the regional agricultural sector, improving access conditions to agricultural holdings on the covered islands.
