The Public Security Police (PSP) proceeded to remove weapons from a man of around 60 years old in Santana. The sexagenarian was intoxicated and in a depressive state, which prompted the intervention of the authorities.
The individual was transported by the PSP to undergo a clinical evaluation by the Psychiatry department. The measure aims to ensure the safety of the individual himself and of others, given the risk profile identified by the authorities.
