A wild parrot got stuck between two glass panels of a balcony railing at a home in San Francisco, California, United States. The bird belongs to the group of wild parrots from Telegraph Hill, colorful birds known for gathering in the iconic San Francisco neighborhood and surrounding areas.

The city Fire Department was called to rescue the animal. Upon arriving at the balcony, the firefighters carefully slid the bird upward, managing to free it from the situation it was in.

The team wrapped the parrot in a towel and handed it over to Officer Mullen, who examined the animal. According to the Fire Department, the bird was fine, with its wings, legs, and neck intact, which allowed it to be safely released.

After being freed, the parrot flew to join its flock companions in a nearby tree. The Animal Control agency reported that the other birds squawked in celebration when the companion returned to the group.
