The Regional Government of the Azores announced an investment of 1.3 million euros for the upgrading of agricultural roads on the islands of São Miguel, Pico and Terceira. The aim is to improve accessibility, circulation and safety conditions on these routes.
The information was conveyed through a press release from the Azorean executive, formed by the PSD/CDS-PP/PPM coalition. The project is the responsibility of the Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Food.
This investment comes within the scope of a programme for the enhancement of agricultural infrastructure in the archipelago, contributing to facilitating the work of farmers and the distribution of production on the three islands covered.
