Tax Authority Tightens Oversight at Beaches and Detects Failures in Invoice Issuance at Concessions

The Tax Authority carried out dozens of inspection operations during the summer at Portuguese beaches, focusing mainly on beach concession establishments. Tax inspectors identified irregularities related to invoice issuance. The detected failures are mainly related to invoicing issues at the concessionary establishments on the beaches. This inspection operation represents a tightening of surveillance by the Tax Authority regarding compliance with tax obligations in this type of commercial establishment.
