The company Euro Atlantic Airways (EAA), a portfolio company of Njord Partners and leader in Portugal in operational leasing and aircraft chartering, announced the incorporation of a new Airbus A330-300 into its fleet. The aircraft, leased from Jackson Square Aviation (JSA), is 15 years old and is configured in three classes: Executive, Premium Economy and Economy, with capacity for 290 passengers. The Executive Class has fully reclining seats and individual entertainment monitors.
The aircraft, which will be registered as CS-TVI after completion of the approval process with national authorities, completed its delivery flight on August 17, departing from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and arriving at Beja airport, in Portugal. This type of aircraft is recognized for its efficiency and comfort, and will support Euro Atlantic's ongoing operations, reinforce its long-term growth objectives and expand the company's long-haul operations.
EAA expects new acquisitions in the coming months, following the roadmap set out in its strategic plan. Recently, the company incorporated another Airbus A330, version 200. Currently, Euro Atlantic operates for the Polish carrier LOT Polish Airlines on the daily Warsaw-New York route and for Brazilian Azul on routes from Viracopos/Campinas to Lisbon, between Recife and Porto, and from São Paulo to Madrid. The Portuguese company also provides services to government entities and operates regular weekly routes to São Tomé and Bissau.
Pauls Calitis, CEO of Euro Atlantic Airways, stated that the incorporation of the new A330-300 reflects the continued growth of the Airbus aircraft operation and the company's commitment to offering versatile and reliable ACMI and charter solutions to airlines and clients worldwide. The CEO thanked Jackson Square Aviation for the partnership and expressed satisfaction with the arrival of the new aircraft to the fleet.
