Iran's chief negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, also harshly criticized the United States, calling them "Satan." In a post on social media platform X, Ghalibaf listed a series of attacks, including the Minab school, the Lamerd sports gym, and the wedding in Kouhestak, where children were killed along with their families, questioning whether a power that acts this way is not in fact "Satan."
According to Iranian authorities, the United States' attacks during the night killed 11 people. Baqaei's post was made on social media, as was Ghalibaf's message, who also mentioned "Shields" as a "lesser Satan" that acts the same way.
