The Province of Castellón and Jaume I University (UJI) are commemorating the 750th anniversary of King Jaume I's death, a monarch significant to the region's history. The activity program for this commemoration was presented this Wednesday.
The Culture Deputy, Alejandro Clausell, was responsible for announcing the activity program. At the event presentation, Clausell was accompanied by the Vice-Rector for Culture, Social Commitment and Equality at UJI, Raquel Agost, and by the tenured Medieval History Professor at Jaume I University, Carles Rabassa.
The programmed activities aim to celebrate the monarch's memory and promote the medieval history of the region through various cultural and academic initiatives.
