JPP announced on Wednesday that it will strengthen ties with Madeiran communities abroad, through the creation of local representatives of its Emigrants' Nucleus. The Madeiran political party thus aims to strengthen its presence among emigrant communities, positioning itself as the voice of Madeirans in the diaspora.
After establishing contacts in Venezuela, JPP is now advancing to Jersey, where Duarte Vieira will take on the responsibility of representing the Emigrants' Nucleus structure in that region. The choice of Jersey reflects the significant presence of Madeiran emigrants in that territory.
The party also plans to extend this initiative to London and South Africa, with plans to subsequently expand to other destinations with a strong presence of Madeiran emigrants. This strategy of proximity to emigrant communities demonstrates JPP's intention to maintain a continuous connection with Madeirans living outside the region.
