The counselor for Presidency, Justice and Local Administration of Madrid, Miguel Ángel García Martín, strongly criticized both the Spanish Executive and Rabat during an institutional statement.
García Martín held the Pedro Sánchez government responsible for the lack of response to the situation, questioning the inaction of the central executive in the face of what he considered an unprecedented migratory crisis. The Madrid spokesperson expressed his reproach to the state executive for the way it handled the crisis.
