A 2-year-old goldendoodle named Rocco died after being left tied up in intense sun in Texas, in the United States. The case occurred in the Dallas area and is being investigated by DeSoto police after images of the animal circulated on social media.
Neighbor Jaida Grace posted photos and videos of the dog on the Public Accountability for Animal Welfare (PAWW) Facebook page. She stated that she had repeatedly warned the owners about the conditions in which the animal was being kept.
According to Jaida, she begged the neighbors to stop leaving the puppy outside during the extreme Texas heat, chained for 10 to 15 hours a day, without water and without shade. The investigation into the case was initiated after the content was shared on social media.
