Minister André Mendonça asked the Federal Police to specifically investigate who Daniel Vorcaro's interlocutor was, the former owner of Banco Master, to whom the banker asked for help shortly before being arrested. The PF delivered a report to Mendonça with the conclusions of this investigation.
The report revealed that Vorcaro's interlocutor was Alexandre de Moraes, minister of the Supreme Federal Court. Furthermore, 52 messages exchanged between the banker and the minister were identified, demonstrating a recurrence of conversations between the two.
The investigations also revealed that Vorcaro was a client of the law firm Barci de Moraes, which is run by Alexandre de Moraes's wife. The minister himself would have reviewed the client's contract, which represents an aggravating factor in the situation. The author of the article spent two days in Brasília to inform himself about the facts that came to light with the removal of the secrecy from the Federal Police report.
