The Chega party announced at 4:30 PM its decision on a motion of censure against the Government. This decision was made public at a specific time of day, after a period of expectation about what the party's position would be.

André Ventura, leader of Chega, had stated on Tuesday evening that the decision had not yet been made. However, he added that he was more inclined to proceed with the motion of censure than not to proceed.
