Candidates approved in the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police competition will hold a protest this Wednesday, starting at 12 PM, in front of the Rio de Janeiro Court of Justice, in downtown the city, to demand the advancement of the training process and the summons of candidates to the State Police Academy Sylvio Terra (Acadepol).
According to the organizers, 1,177 candidates are awaiting the continuation of the competition. They state they have already completed stages such as written exam, physical fitness test, psychological evaluation, and health examinations.
The group intends to request a meeting with Acting Governor Ricardo Couto to present their demands and advocate for the continuation of the training process. The approved candidates link their demand to the staff shortage in the Civil Police.
