The Chega party announced that it will reveal this afternoon its decision on a possible motion of censure to the Government. The statement is scheduled for 4:30 PM.

The announcement will be made by the party leader, who will speak at Chega's headquarters, in Lisbon.

The motion of censure is a parliamentary instrument that can lead to the fall of the Government, if approved by the majority of deputies.

Chega is a Portuguese right-wing political party.

Municipality reinforces support for farmers affected by fires

The municipality of Valpaços, led by mayor Jorge Mata Pires, met with the parish council presidents of the nine parishes affected by the fires and with agricultural associations to coordinate a joint response to support producers.
