El PP accuses the Government of Spain of "protecting the country that invaded Spain"

The Popular Party (PP) harshly criticized the management of the Spanish Government during the Ceuta crisis, accusing it of "protecting the country that invaded Spain" in reference to Morocco.

The controversy arises after the Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, requested that the Director General of the Police, Francisco Pardo, account for the content of a report prepared by the National Center for Immigration and Borders (CENIF).

According to the newspaper El Español, this report was sent to the National Audience Court and would attribute to Moroccan security forces the responsibility for the massive assault on the Ceuta border that occurred on July 30 and 31.
