Mação completes Health Extension and transfers housing and school to other funding sources

The municipality of Mação managed to complete the Cardigos Health Extension within the deadline of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). The Mayor informed that the process was finalized by August 31st, with all necessary documentation submitted.

Regarding the affordable housing and school projects, these will not be funded by the PRR. The local authorities decided to transfer these projects to other available funding mechanisms.

This decision comes as a result of the tight deadlines established by the PRR, which forced the municipality to prioritize the completion of some projects over others, which will have to be made viable through alternative funding sources.
