The Episcopal Palace Garden of Castelo Branco reached the National Semi-Final of the 2026 edition of the "7 Wonders of Portugal - Tourism" contest, now being one step away from being crowned one of the great wonders of the country. Public voting runs until September 5th.
The decisive Semi-Final gala takes place at the Palace of Vila, in Sintra, next Saturday, September 5th, starting at 9:30 PM, with live broadcast on TVI. Telephone voting is already open and closes during the program broadcast.
To support the candidacy, interested parties can vote through the number 761 20 70 40, with a cost of €0.60 plus VAT per call.
The President of the Municipality, Leopoldo Rodrigues, emphasized that the mobilization of all people from Castelo Branco and lovers of national heritage is essential at this decisive stage to showcase the historical and cultural value of the region at the national level.
