Almost a week after the disaster, Nepal records more than 1100 dead and almost 4000 missing resulting from the catastrophe that hit the valleys on the border between Tibet and Nepal.
The incident began on August 26, when the collapse of a glacier triggered a series of events that devastated the affected regions.
Since that date, almost 12,000 people have been rescued from the areas affected by the catastrophe.
The rescue operations continue as authorities try to locate the thousands of missing.
