The French singer Patrick Bruel decided to cancel his autumn tour that was supposed to begin on October 2. The decision comes amid a series of formal accusations against the artist.

Bruel is the target of approximately 30 complaints and is a suspect in four cases of sexual violence. The accusations have placed him at the center of intense media and judicial attention in France.

In a statement, the singer claims to make "the choice of appeasement," suggesting that the decision to cancel the tour aims to calm the situation. However, Bruel continues to contest all the accusations made against him.
