The number of dead from the flood that hit Nepal has risen to 1,114. Nearly 4,000 people are missing following the catastrophe.
On the Chinese side, state media reported 16 dead and 546 missing in the Tibet region.
The tragedy thus affects two distinct regions, with a significantly more severe toll in Nepal.
