A Federal Police report indicates that Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, received guidance from Supreme Federal Court (STF) Minister Alexandre de Moraes during the peak of the financial institution's crisis. The messages were extracted from the banker's phone and reveal that he requested the magistrate's intervention to prevent the bank's liquidation and the advancement of investigations.
In the conversations, Vorcaro made appeals to "sensitize" authorities and asked about how he should proceed to "disarm" and "reverse" the situation. The content of the interactions suggests a direct request for interference in matters that should have been handled by other agencies.
The interactions revealed by the investigation date back to December 2023, when the first meeting between Vorcaro and Moraes allegedly took place. The message exchanges spanned nearly two years, until November 2025, when the banker was ultimately arrested.
In addition to Moraes, the content obtained by the PF also falls on the attorney general of Brazil, Paulo Gonet, who allegedly exchanged messages related to the case.
