The village of Odeleite, in the municipality of Castro Marim, celebrated between September 4 and 6 the traditional Festivities in Honor of Nossa Senhora da Visitação, with three days of religious activities, music, folklore, regional products and community gathering. The Municipality of Castro Marim stated that the festivities had a festive program full of music, traditions and religious initiatives.
On Friday, September 4, the festivities began at 6:00 PM with the opening of the regional products fair, followed by a dance with Filipe Romão, the performance of the Rancho Folclórico do Azinhal at 9:30 PM and DJ Nuno Silva with the Tour Anos 80 starting at 10:30 PM.
On Saturday, September 5, the second edition of the motorcycle ride took place, departing from Odeleite and traveling through various points of the parish. The musical entertainment was provided by Acordeanima and the concert by Joana D'Arc, billed as the main performance of the evening.
The main religious moment took place on Sunday, September 6, with the procession in honor of Nossa Senhora da Visitação, which traveled through the streets of Odeleite starting at 7:00 PM. The festivities were organized by the Parish Council of Odeleite, Municipality of Castro Marim, Parish of Odeleite and Social Association of the Parish of Odeleite.
