Actor Lázaro Ramos bought an apartment in Salvador, his hometown. In March of this year, he had said in an interview that he was considering moving his family from Rio de Janeiro to Salvador, where his family lives, including his father Ivan, who is 82 years old. Although the move has not yet been confirmed, he is already securing a place to live in the Bahian capital.
The property is in the Oceania Building, a traditional building inaugurated in 1943 and listed as historical heritage since 2008. The building is famous for its Art Deco architecture and is located in front of the Barra Lighthouse, one of the most well-known postcards of Salvador. The building's apartments have three bedrooms and an average of 150 square meters.
Lázaro Ramos is documenting the apartment renovation through a series on Instagram called "Diário de obras em Salvador", where he shares the behind-the-scenes of the construction of his new home in the Bahian capital.
