Brazil will have 13 candidates in the race for the Presidency of the Republic in the 2026 elections, with the first round scheduled for October 4 and, if necessary, a second round on October 25.

Among the candidates are President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT), who is seeking re-election, Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), former governors Ronaldo Caiado (PSD) and Romeu Zema (Novo), writer Augusto Cury (Avante), activist Renan Santos (Missão), professors Edmilson Dias (PCB) and Hertz Dias (PSTU), dentist Samara Martins (UP), veterinarian Wilson Grassi (Democrata), lawyer Clariana Barão (DC), journalist Rui Costa Pimenta (PCO), and businessman Pablo Marçal (PRTB).

The race brings together representatives from different political spectra, including left, center, and right.
