Senator and presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) will leave Brasilia this Wednesday for a campaign agenda in Rio Grande do Sul, on the same day the Senate begins analysis of the constitutional amendment proposal (PEC) that ends the 6x1 scale. While the presidential candidate will be at the Expointer, where he will have lunch with agribusiness leaders and entities, the opposition leader and campaign coordinator, Rogério Marinho (PL-RN), will lead in the Constitution and Justice Committee (CCJ) an offensive to try to prevent the immediate advancement of the proposal advocated by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT).
The opposition strategy will be to try to put an alternative proposal first to a vote, which provides for work schedule flexibilization. Marinho stated on Tuesday that he will present a preference request so that this text is analyzed before the PEC reported by Omar Aziz (PSD-AM). If the maneuver is defeated, the senator intends to resort to other parliamentary instruments to delay the process.
