In Nepal, a mudslide hit the third floor of a dwelling, causing significant damage to the structure. Emergency teams are trying to carry out debris removal work to be able to access the affected buildings, but progress has been slow.
Rain has been a detrimental factor to the rescue and cleanup operations, making the work of the teams in the field difficult. Several roads were again cut off due to the adverse weather conditions and the effects of the mud, further complicating access to the affected areas.
