Political communication expert Sílvia Mangerona criticized the intervention of Minister Luís Neves at an official ceremony, considering that he placed himself at the same level of communication and discourse as André Ventura, the leader of the Chega party.

The analyst emphasized that the approach chosen by the official represented a poor communication choice, by placing the minister on a level of unnecessary direct confrontation with the Chega leader.

Mangerona also emphasized that Luís Neves does not speak for the Government, suggesting that his intervention did not represent the official position of the executive.
