The Municipality of Anadia will assume the total costs for the acquisition of the activity books corresponding to the textbooks adopted by the School Grouping of Anadia for the 2026/2027 school year. The measure was approved at the City Council meeting held on August 27 and represents a municipal investment exceeding 42 thousand euros.
The support covers students attending the 1st Cycle of Basic Education in the public network of the municipality. To benefit from this support, parents/legal guardians must deliver to the School Social Action Service of the Municipality the respective invoices referring to the acquisition of the activity books.
Within the scope of School Social Action, the Municipality of Anadia also ensures the co-participation of expenses with the acquisition of school materials and school meals for students of the 1st Cycle of Basic Education, according to the assigned school social action tier (A or B).
This measure is part of the School Social Action policy of the Municipality of Anadia and aims to promote equality of opportunities in access to education, following the practice of previous years.
