TAAG - Angola's Airlines and LATAM Airlines formalized a commercial codeshare partnership that allows the Angolan airline to expand its destination network to more than half a hundred Brazilian cities. The agreement was announced through a statement this Tuesday, September 1st.

Through this partnership, TAAG passengers will have access to LATAM Brasil's domestic network via Guarulhos International Airport in São Paulo, one of the main air hubs in Latin America. The cooperation allows combined itineraries, greater flexibility in travel planning and a smoother connection experience between the flights of the two airlines.

With this new agreement, TAAG now has seven codeshare partners: Mozambique Airlines, Lufthansa, Iberia, Gol, SAA, Kenya Airways and LATAM. The Angolan company also states that LATAM's international routes in South America and North America may be covered under this cooperation.

The agreement also reinforces the strategic positioning of the Dr. António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN) as a platform connecting the African continent and South America, promoting regional mobility, economic exchange and tourism development. Among TAAG's other recent developments is the return to Cape Verde, with the Luanda-Dakar-Praia route scheduled for October.
