CGD Administration approves headquarters relocation to Parque das Nações

Caixa Geral de Depósitos changed the address of its registered office, with effect from September 1, 2026, with the public bank announcing the move in a market communication. The new headquarters is located in Parque das Nações, in the WellBe building, on Avenida Dom João II.

The change was approved by the Board of Directors of CGD, and is still awaiting registration with the Commercial Registry Office. After about three decades in the historic headquarters building on Avenida João XXI, in Lisbon, Caixa is thus moving to new premises.

The purchase of the new headquarters was completed in 2024. The transfer of the historic headquarters building on Avenida João XXI to the Portuguese State is part of a government centralization plan and reorganization of Portuguese public real estate heritage.
