The Socialist Party (PS) announced that it will question the Portuguese Government about a 500 million euro credit line agreed with Mozambique. The initiative comes in the context of a visit to Maputo made by José Luís Carneiro, a PS leader.
José Luís Carneiro promised to present a parliamentary question to the Ministry of Finance about the terms and conditions of this financial agreement. The credit was established during the Porto Summit, which took place in December.
The 500 million euro credit line aims to strengthen economic and financial cooperation between Portugal and Mozambique. PS intends to obtain more clarification about the details of this agreement.
