Prime Minister Luís Montenegro participated in the inauguration ceremony of an avenue named after Francisco Sá Carneiro, founder of PSD, in Cascais. The event served as a moment of tribute to the former party leader and political affirmation of the Executive.
In his speech, Montenegro evoked Sá Carneiro's legacy to convey a message of determination. The prime minister assured that the Government will not yield in the face of political adversities it faces.
On the occasion, Montenegro also left a warning about "disinformation", alerting to the dangers that he considers represent a threat in the current political and social context.
The ceremony was attended by several PSD figures and took place in Cascais, a municipality historically associated with the party.
