The leader of Chega, Ventura, announced that he postponed the decision on presenting a motion of censure against the Government. Initially, the party's bodies were scheduled to meet this Tuesday to debate the issue, but the decision should only be made on Wednesday.
The reason for the motion of censure is related to the controversies involving the Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI). Ventura expressed his intention to censure the Government due to these issues.
However, the leader of Chega did not miss the opportunity to criticize Luís Neves, whom he accused of arrogance. This accusation comes in the context of the same controversies that motivated the possibility of presenting the motion of censure.
Thus, the party led by Ventura should formally pronounce itself on the motion of censure only on Wednesday, after the meeting of its internal bodies.
