The Minister of Education, Science and Innovation, Fernando Alexandre, publicly acknowledged that second-phase candidates for higher education are the most disadvantaged due to delays in grading national exams. This situation places these students at a disadvantage compared to first-phase candidates.

Fernando Alexandre expressed confidence that higher education institutions will have "mechanisms" to adequately integrate these candidates affected by the grading delays.

The minister's acknowledgment comes in a context of problems with the exam grading schedule, which has caused concern among students competing through the second phase of the higher education access competition.
