The Socialist Party will question the Government about the lack of implementation of a 500 million euro line to finance investments by Portuguese companies in Mozambique. The decision to create this credit line was made in December, but so far it has not yet been put into practice.
The announcement was made by the PS's secretary-general, who criticized the Executive's inaction on this matter. The party intends to pressure the Government to move forward with the implementation of the financing line.
This 500 million euro line comes in the context of economic relations between Portugal and Mozambique, intending to support national companies that wish to invest in the African country. The PS considers it a priority to boost this financial tool.
