Singers Joelma and Ximbinha denied having a pending condominium debt of R$ 697,254.68 referring to a property located in a gated community in Ananindeua, in the Metropolitan Region of Belém, Pará. The information about the possible debt emerged after a registration and recent activity in the Court of Justice of Pará.
According to a statement sent by Joelma's team, there is no debt in the cited amount. The team explained that the amount of R$ 697,254.68 corresponds to the amount in dispute of a lawsuit already dismissed, in which Joelma and Cledivan were parties, and that proceeded under a secrecy order. The artist's lawyers stated that the recent activity is merely a "procedural development of this case for settling small outstanding court costs."
Ximbinha, meanwhile, said through his press office that he is unaware of any debt of this nature in his name and reinforced that he does not recognize such a debt. Joelma's team also stated that the Ananindeua property has another debt, but that this would be related to the period when Cledivan, the singer's ex-husband, was in possession of the property.
