Trump threatens Tehran with "much stronger" attacks in case of retaliation

dnoticias.pt1 September 2026 at 20:02

The US President, Donald Trump, threatened Iran with "much stronger" attacks if Tehran responds to the new offensive launched by US military forces. The threat was posted on the President's social network, Truth Social, moments after US forces confirmed the launch of attacks on Iranian targets.

According to Trump's message, Iran was described as a "failed nation" and the attacks were considered "fully justified". The President warned that any Iranian retaliation would result in new incursions with greater intensity.

US military forces confirmed that these attacks represent the second offensive against Iranian targets in a few days, indicating an escalation in tension between the two countries.
