"Luís Neves' Position is Unsustainable, It's Harming the Government"

Pedro Santos Guerreiro, executive director of CNN Portugal, considered that the position of the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Montenegro, is unsustainable and is causing damage to the Government.

The comment arose in a political analysis program, where Guerreiro stated that the Executive needs to find a "political pretext" that justifies the minister's departure from his position.

The position of Luís Montenegro has been the subject of criticism and public debate in recent weeks, which has generated pressure on the Prime Minister to make a decision about the future of the member of his Government.

The analyst stated that Montenegro's continuity in the position is compromising the stability and credibility of the Executive, making his replacement increasingly necessary from a political point of view.
