Sandra Felgueiras, journalist at CNN Portugal, responded to criticism from the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, regarding the work of journalists. The journalist declared she had never heard the minister say what the mentioned falsehood would be, adding that "there is no falsehood" and that, on the contrary, she heard him assume responsibilities.

Felgueiras considered that Luís Neves "seems detached from reality" and that "he still doesn't understand what happened," in reference to the situation that prompted his resignation or the criticism that was made. The journalist's position comes in defense of journalistic work following the minister's public attacks.
