PL presidential candidate, Flávio Bolsonaro, and other opposition members have started defending the removal of Minister Alexandre de Moraes from the Supreme Federal Court (STF), after new revelations about alleged irregularities involving the magistrate. The accusations include a close relationship with former banker Daniel Vorcaro, from Banco Master, and the analysis of a 131 million reais contract signed between the office of Moraes' wife, Viviane Barci de Moraes, and the bank.
Flávio Bolsonaro stated on Tuesday in the Senate that he is "shocked" by the revelations and defended that Moraes resign from office if the accusations are proven. According to the candidate, the minister would no longer be able to remain on the STF. Other opposition members raised the tone even further and started defending the opening of impeachment proceedings and even the arrest of the minister.
According to information published by the newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo, metadata from a file points to an edit attributed to the profile "Ministr...", which suggests that Moraes personally edited documents related to the Banco Master case. The company is the subject of investigations conducted by the minister himself in the Superior Electoral Court.
